Annoyed and Annoying are two different words. Maybe, your just annoyed. Just because your annoyed, it doesn't necessarily mean that that person is already ANNOYING! Know the difference! Otherwise, it will hit you in the future that your timid mind is the REAL reason why you and her aren't friends!

--A post one time.

Know the Difference!

Words may be just air with sounds, but words are also darts. It will hit you at the most unexpected time possible. So know very well, what your saying and what your referring to. . .Because one letter, one word and one meaning can change what you mean. And because you don't know the difference, your putting yourself miles and miles away from the real truth.

For EXAMPLE:

  • Engaged -- Engaged
  • Date -- Date
  • Annoyed -- Annoying
  • NO -- know
  • Ass -- ass
Technically, Homonyms are not what I mean. But what I want YOU to understand is that you have to KNOW THE DIFFERENCE!

My Dear MAMA,

She was my rock,
She was my strength.
Now that the time has stretched,
It’s time for me to leave the nest

She made it easy,
Swift! Like a river flow.
She made it slow,
But exact, to what I know.

Now, I chose to leave her,
I wonder what was in my head.
When everything I needed was right there,
I decided to wander off and be independent.

At this moment, I’m upfront for the world,
So scared and nervous, just about to hurl.

But at the back of my mind, I know she’s behind,

For  a gal raised be “she”, I know I’ll be fine.

Beauty behind the Verdict

What lies in the forest are unknown to us, but even so, what lies outside are dangerous and scary. So you can think the tumble of worries a mother has for her baby. . .but even so, sooner or later the bird needs to leave her nest.

In the deepest part of the forest,
Lies creatures and species of all sizes.
Its lairs shout the signs of dangers,
But its beautiful mystery lingers.

There inside the dark misty plains,
Sires a mother who shivers in fear.
For she knows the terrors outside,
With high hopes to wander the open wide.

My dear daughter don’t be afraid, mama said,
What lies in the wilderness, we can never tell.
You’ll stumble and fall and hit your head,
But sooner or later, you’ll find the reasons why you fell.

It’s time for you to leave the hollow,
Race your dreams and success will follow.
Flap your wings up high,
And soon you’ll be soaring to the vast sky.

Re-evaluating

A month ago or so I think, we were tasked to make a poem. That was when my terror began. I am a writer, yes. But there is one thing I don’t know how to write. And that’s writing a poem, and honestly from the past grades I got from my English subject concerning a topic on poems I’d say I was always hanging by a word.

So after numerous of scratches, ball pen streaks and wasted papers, I created a poem. When I was done, I lost the poem. HAHAHA:D lucky me!!! Now, I had to do it all over again. The worst thing? I had to recall the lost poem that was created a month ago. So I gave up and made another one. Hope it satisfies you, the reader, keep in mind though that I’m not good at this soooo cut a girl some slack. J

What a surprise my life had been
A little spark of me , you would’ve seen
Like flowing blood that’s in my vein
There , a bit of glee, I remained.

Success struck me but I decomposed
I, myself felt that that door had closed
Like bottles and jars it kept me inside
Now my soul is locked with great big pride.

Worm eaten I was for I had lost my own
I sold my soul for something, for a reason that’s known
It was not masturbation, that is a part of me grow to up
Rather there was a part of me that I need to give up.

I remembered a Bamithsva that I, myself attended
Then I knew that the celebrant had what all he wanted
That  day I promised to have success in me
And now it seems I ended so proud and greedy.

I put away my soul like a cashier discards
Then success overflowed, but I knew I was a coward
Called such because I was afraid to lose everything
Because of that, I became nothing.

Oh, but there is a twist in making this poem. It had to revolve on the following 10 words:

1.       Masturbation
2.       Bartmithsva
3.       Worm-eaten
4.       Cashier
5.       Success
6.       Glee
7.       Decomposed
8.       Success
9.       Bottles
10.   Surprise

"IF"

“IF” is a very dangerous word. If and only if. If I only did what I knew in my heart that I was supposed to do then maybe. . . just maybe. . If I'd only. . .
I live by my youth. I live by my memories. Every night I'm haunted by those beautiful dreams. Everyday I speak of the past. I can't help it. I'm at the end of the race but I'm still looking back at the starting line. Still looking back at her. My treasure. My precious. If only I had the wisdom to realize that what I felt was real, if only I had the courage to seize what I know I had in my heart and soul then maybe I wouldn't have wasted my youth, wouldn't have to enter this realm of blasphemy.

If and only if. As I've said a powerful word that leaves me hanging, wondering what could have been and what might have been.
I visit my past. The silhouette of the sunset. If I had my stand, then my “if” would no longer be haunting. But I sit here, everyday, in this beach, where I will meet my end with my tears and haunts of “if”.

When you've changed. . .

I don’t know how it came to be this way. I’ve grown tired of this on and on fairytale that I decided to take a break from it, chill. When I was happy doing my thing, enjoying my time, I know deep inside there was always something missing, something I was longing. But naturally I didn’t mind it at all, because my emptiness was quickly filled with GOD, my family and my friends. So I went on with my life, just surrendering to the river flow. When I was just following where the current would take me, I stumbled. Then  he came.  It caught me absolutely off guard. He was exactly what I wanted, especially those deep brown eyes of his. After that my routine changed again. Back to the old me. The teenager with hormones just kicking in.  Now, I’m back. And I’m stuck. Because somehow, I think, just maybe, I’m slowly falling in love with him. The sad thing is, I don’t know what damn thing to do about it. Worst? I don’t know if I can do something about it, and I think neither does he.

My Siren

People are coming. Telephones are ringing. Reports are all over the news. Meetings to be done. Studies to be analyzed. Solutions to be thought of. Rules to be implemented. Everything is a rush. All is a mess.
The increase of deaths is very alarming. And now people are pointing on who's at fault. I have to be the tiebreaker. It is hard to be at this side especially when lives are at risk. But I have to do my part. I hear screams of mothers, gasping for breath, the ultimate sacrifice just to let their poor innocent child know this God-given world. I hear cries of fathers, children and relatives at the realization of their loss. I hear disappointment, anguish and despair. I hear remorse of doctors and nurses for not being able to hold the end of one's being. I hear the worries of the aspiring mother's to be.
I hear it all. I have to. Something must be done to stop this. Solutions at every way possible must be considered.
My people, I hear your qualms. I hear the urgency of this matter. At the least time taken I will hear the causes and effects. To the mother's to be and the families I deeply regret your cries but I can hear them and I feel for them. I hear my call. My call of responsibility.
